R is for:

The focus is on fostering understanding, improving communication, and resolving conflict. For parent-teen relationships, I help bridge generational gaps by addressing miscommunication, unmet needs, or conflicting expectations to better understand each other’s perspectives. In stepfamilies, therapy may focus on navigating blended family roles, building trust, and managing loyalty conflicts.

Navigating a divorce or relationship breakdown can be an overwhelming and deeply emotional process, and counselling provides a supportive space to work through the pain and confusion. I help clients explore their feelings of loss, anger, or guilt while offering guidance on rebuilding their sense of self and identity outside the relationship. Together, we can address the practical challenges of co-parenting, boundary-setting, and creating a new future, while also delving into any patterns or dynamics that may have contributed to the relationship’s breakdown. My approach is compassionate and empowering, aiming to help you heal, grow, and move forward with clarity and resilience.

*I am not a couples counsellor but I am a Certified Relationship Workshop facilitator and coach.

What ever issue that brings you to my door, you will be treated with respect, fairness and compassion.
