H is for:

Hoarding is often connected to anxiety, trauma, or a deep sense of attachment to possessions, and therapy helps clients understand and address these connections.

I focus on helping clients to explore the emotional and psychological factors underlying their behaviour. I challenge thought patterns around acquiring and keeping items. I also develop strategies for decision-making and organisation. Together, we explore the emotional meanings of possessions. I help clients build confidence in letting go. I respect their pace and autonomy. The goal is to reduce the distress linked to hoarding, improve living conditions, and enhance overall well-being.

What ever issue that brings you to my door, you will be treated with respect, fairness and compassion.
