I have a keen interest in Transpersonal Psychology and I am currently studying for a diploma in this field. I hope to be able to bring this knowledge and training into my work, where clients have an interest in exploring and integrating the spiritual aspects of their human experience and exploring wider aspects of humankind and the psyche.
Human consciousness is going through a rapid transformation at this time. Many people are questioning the accepted narrative of what it is to be human and the accepted pathway of ‘birth, education, work, mortgage, taxes, retirement and death’ and asking ‘Is this the only way to live?’

Aromatherapy for mental health
I am currently training as an aromatherapist.
I have used aromatherapy to assist clients with sleep issues, anxiety and depression.
I use the highest quality oils and make individual tailored oil blends, using my knowledge of the oils and their properties and insight into my client’s needs.
I am currently training as a meditation teacher.
I have used mindfulness practices throughout my life, first developing an interest in how meditation can lower anxiety back in the 1980’s.
Integrating guided meditation into my client work as well as everyday mindfulness around our thoughts and feelings has enhanced the work that I do with clients.
Babies can hear the voices of their parents and music that is being played whilst in utero.
All of our senses have a role in our healing. Hearing is the very first sense that we become aware of in the womb.
On a very basic level, music that we listen to can enhance or alter our mind. Different frequencies of sound have also been found to have healing properties.
The chanting that often accompanies meditative practices also resonates throughout our body and provides a connecting/healing link.
Over the last few years, I have used Gong baths, singing bowls and music to help heal myself.
